It is always a good idea to have your session window open for the start of the call in case there is any last minute communication or the meeting link isn’t working.
Test your audio ahead of time as this can eat into the session time if things aren’t working correctly.
The mentor provides the communication details, so when it is time to start, click on the Zoom or Meet link and you are good to go!
If you are using Skype, add the person in advance to be ready to start right away.
The other party is absent
If you don’t hear anything from the other party 5 minutes into the scheduled time, definitely send a message via the chat letting them know that you are waiting.
