Describe yourself
I’m a growth and acquisition expert with a passion for building standout brands in competitive spaces. I’ve led growth for companies like LinkedIn, Finder, and Schneider Electric, scaled startups like Paperform, Citro, and now Syncio, and served as a Growth Architect at the Boston Consulting Group, where I developed GTM and acceleration strategies across diverse industries. I love the experimental side of growth and put customers at the center of everything I do, helping unlock ROI and sustainable revenue growth.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
Having experienced the transformative power of mentorship firsthand, I’m passionate about paying it forward by sharing my decade of growth expertise to help startups and small businesses thrive while continuing my own learning journey through these meaningful connections.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
A growth mindset means viewing every experience—whether success or failure—as a learning opportunity, combining self-awareness and adaptability with the understanding that our potential isn’t fixed. It’s about approaching challenges with curiosity rather than fear, and empowering others to do the same.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Growth strategy and prioritization; identifying high-impact opportunities and focusing resources where they’ll drive the most value.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I start by gathering data from multiple sources—metrics, customers, and cross-functional teams—to get a complete understanding of the problem at hand. Then, I identify potential causes and validate them through lean experiments to pinpoint the root issue. In my experience, examining the problem from multiple perspectives and reducing bias through experiments is crucial for distinguishing the underlying problem from surface-level symptoms.

Fractional CMO / Head of Marketing & Growth, Startup Growth Consultant, ex-trivago, ex-PENTA/Qonto
Describe yourself
Hey there, I am Svetla, a seasoned marketing & growth professional with 10 years of experience in all marketing channels (online & offline), various industries (FMCG, retail, travel tech, fintech, e-commerce), both B2C and B2B, and all growth stages – from scale-ups (trivago, Qonto), via series B, series A, down to startups in a PMF stage. I have contributed to two fintech exits while being responsible for 90% of the new customer acquisition. In addition, I have experience in Product Management at scale and have introduced tracking & attribution and co-led re-branding exercises at several companies, thus I have a good understanding of analytics and advanced A/B testing methodologies for re-branding processes. After 10 years working in the German market, I have a really good understanding of it, as well as a good network and fluency in German.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
In my experience as a Head of Marketing / CMO / Head of Growth in startups of all stages, I often realized how important it is for founders to receive advice from experienced growth specialists early on to avoid mistakes which usually cost them the most valuable resource – time. I also personally enjoyed successfully creating impact for the businesses I have worked for and am glad to share my experience in multiple industries, in all marketing channels, both in B2B and B2C to create impact for further businesses.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
To me, the most effective growth mindset translates into: focusing on the activities that move the needle short-term, while still building the setup for efficient & effective mid-/long-term growth.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Strategy. Jumping to implementation without taking the time for strategy and PMF can end up being very time-consuming and inefficient.

Listening and analyzing the status quo + background information. Talking to all stakeholders.

It would be how to create natural and enjoyable human interfaces with technology.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I first try and understand the what and why. What are you trying to solve for, and why is it important to you? SEO Content Consultant
Describe yourself
Hi! My name’s Liz and I’ve got 15 years of content marketing under my belt, with seven niche years in SEO content (think: where editorial content meets performance marketing). I’m a lover of keywords and my superpower is not only developing content strategies and roadmaps based on search volume opportunities BUT also building and scaling content ops so you can produce editorial content at high velocities. My sweet spot is small startups: I love bringing a small but mighty org from 0 to 1, helping blow your early organic acquisition goals out of the water. Driving hockey stick organic growth using high-quality, low-cost content is where I add value.
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
I’m looking to continue to grow my SEO content freelancing business after 4 successful years of operating.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
For me, a growth mindset means attacking a problem with audacity and, in the case of my skill set, not being afraid to learn and adapt based on our rapidly evolving SEO landscape. Success in growth marketing occurs when you’re not obsessively copying your competitors but instead passionately setting the trends. Leading, not following.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
I’m passionate about mentoring individuals/organizations on SEO content — specifically as it pertains to editorial and blogs. I love explaining keyword research methodology, how to build and scale a killer freelance team, how to incorporate AI into workflows, and how to leverage your target demographics to define your content strategies. My mentorship spans purely strategic (roadmap development) to full-service execution (providing end-to-end content services).
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
When solving an SEO content problem, all troubleshooting drills down to target demographics and user behavior: how well can we know your audience, predict their search patterns, and therefore deliver an experience for them (in my case, using content) that answers their questions, meets their needs, and ultimately creates a positive association with your brand. Understanding users’ needs — whether in a search or product environment — is the first step in any tech problem-solving.

Advocate for Mental Health + Female & POC Leadership. US West Coast, prev. Asia and Europe. Let’s turn your User Experience into a competitive advantage! 🔥
In just one sentence, why do you want to become a growth mentor?
Mentoring gives me so much energy and I love networking.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
I read the book “Mindset” and it totally changed my perspective on goals & challenges. If I had to sum it up, having a growth mindset is about prioritizing learning over everything else, even over ego.
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Usability (or “user-friendliness”). Improving it is such a cheap and efficient way to create impact on conversion and stickiness. Plus, usability principles can be applied to anything from your pitch deck, to your sales emails and to, of course, your user interfaces. It’s just so bloody satisfying.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
I have many different frameworks but asking “why” at least 5 times is always a good start.

Having personally gained so much from mentors, I believe in paying it forward to help others succeed while ensuring it’s a mutually beneficial relationship that fosters growth for both parties.
In your words, what does a growth mindset mean to you?
A growth mindset, to me, means embracing challenges and setbacks as opportunities for learning and personal development. For me, it also means to focus on progress and not perfection which I know is by no means easy, but practice makes progress 😉
If you could mentor a startup on one topic, what would it be?
Product Marketing – whether your product is a service, software, consumer good, etc., let’s collaborate on any or all components of your go-to-market strategy aligned to your buyer’s journey. I specialize in: messaging & positioning, digital marketing, demand generation, sales enablement, content development, and email marketing.
Describe an out-of-the-box solution to a complex problem that made you proud of yourself.
We had to increase the social eminence of a High-Tech Executive and Subject Matter Expert to attract whitespace accounts and progress leads more quickly than using traditional methods and one-off tactics. We implemented physical digital innovation-related tactics by creating an end-to-end program tying events, one-to-one communications, and SocialCasts (socially enabled webcasts) together and being very intentional about the customer experience throughout each touchpoint. We saw an accelerated sales cycle through this program compared to traditional one-off tactics such as stand-alone webcasts, etc.
