GrowthMentor has given me a huge sense of support, knowing that I have access to over 750 mentors, most of whom are readily available.

Tell us something about yourself and what you are currently working on.
I’ve been running a WordPress agency for the past five years, focusing on strategy and process optimization to keep things running smoothly. We specialize in creating accessible websites and developing extensive checklists to ensure compliance. The main challenge we’re solving is making sure all major processes are clearly mapped out, easy to access, and—most importantly—that our developers and designers actually use them!
Before you learned about GrowthMentor, how did you deal with the challenges you faced?
I’m part of a community of German entrepreneurs called Citizen Circle, which has been great for connecting with other entrepreneurs, each with their own specializations. Otherwise, I often found myself ruminating on challenges for weeks, overthinking things and taking much longer to make decisions.
What ultimately compelled you to sign up to GrowthMentor?
I first heard about GrowthMentor at an in-person event. Someone mentioned they’d just had a casual mentorship session with a CEO of a major company the night before. My first reaction? ‘That sounds too good to be true.’ I hesitated at first, but when a special deal came up, I thought, ‘Let’s go!’
Looking back, it’s been one of the best investments I’ve made—not just for expert advice, but for the headspace it frees up. The mentors genuinely care, go the extra mile, offer follow-ups, share additional resources, and even review materials when needed. That level of support—both in knowledge and emotional backing—is invaluable.
Super grateful for this community.
What’s your favorite thing about GrowthMentor?
What I love about GrowthMentor is the variety of experts. It feels like a buffet of knowledge where I can explore different perspectives, pick the advice that resonates most, and connect with the right people at the right time. Some months, I book three calls (and could easily do more), but even when I don’t, just knowing that the right support is only a few clicks away gives me the confidence to move forward.
What topics have you mostly discussed with mentors?
I’ve mostly discussed building processes for my agency, especially with our long-time focus on white-label WordPress development. Managing a remote team has also been a big topic, along with figuring out the right marketing strategies. Marketing is especially important for agencies since one of the biggest challenges is ensuring a steady flow of clients.
Is there a specific session/mentor that stands out in your mind as super helpful?
I’ve had the chance to speak with so many amazing mentors, but these three stand out (in no particular order):
- Jacob Brain – My go-to for agency processes. He helped me structure my workflows and refine my business positioning.
- Derrick Cramer – Super new, super smart. He gave me on-the-spot support for website structuring and brought a ton of good vibes.
- Guy Chiswick – Helped me structure a website proposal. Right after our call, I had a sales meeting—and landed a €13K website project.
Huge thanks for the incredible support!
Based on the things you’ve discussed in calls, do you have any results to tell us about?
I turned the marketing insights from my calls into a business workshop that I presented at a conference in Bangkok, which led to winning a website project for a leading German engineering company.
My biggest takeaway? Many of the answers are already inside me, but talking things through and making sense of my thoughts helps me reach conclusions and take action.
How has GrowthMentor helped you?
GrowthMentor has given me a huge sense of support, knowing that I have access to over 750 mentors, most of whom are readily available. That alone is incredibly powerful and gives me the confidence to take bigger steps, knowing help is just a few clicks away.
It’s also helped me get better at identifying what I truly need. Plus, it’s become a great monthly ritual to check in and set my top three priorities for my agency, BockPress.
