Before you learned about GrowthMentor, how did you deal with the challenges you faced?

I used to (and still do) read a lot of blogs, ask people in my network (I am part of OnDeck) or various Slack communities.

Tell us about what you are currently working on.

I am the founder of Kosy – we are a full remote team of 10 split across Europe and have been backed by VC capital.

We are building a virtual space to help remote teams be more connected and productive.

What ultimately compelled you to sign up for GrowthMentor?

The clear value that a mentor could provide based on a specific problem I was facing. We were looking at product onboarding hence spoke to a few UX consultants when we got started!

What’s your favorite thing about GrowthMentor?

It’s great that I know I can have access to any mentor to unstuck me on any topic that I need.

I used to be a big fan of expert interviews back in my days in consulting. We used to use companies like GLG, Alphasights and Thirdbridge. However, these only work for big consulting/PE funds.

GrowthMentor works super well for startups.

Based on things you’ve discussed in calls, do you have any results to tell us about?

By speaking to various experts, it makes it a lot easier to understand what we know and what we don’t know about a certain topic.

For example, regarding our ProductHunt campaign, we got confirmation that we were thinking about it the right way with a few relevant pointers of where to look for more information.

For our onboarding flow, we got confirmation that we were also thinking about it the right way.
